Manager, Asset Management (Fund Administration)

As a Manager, you will be responsible for managing small to mid-sized projects and teams of consultants while developing the company on its growth path. You will also play a key role in acquiring projects, supporting sales efforts, and managing and developing existing client relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Acquire projects and/or support the senior management in acquisitions and sales through strong client engagement
  • Manage several projects under an account, including mentoring teams of consultants
  • Oversee the implementation and quality control of projects with regards to both budget and content
  • Conduct interviews and workshops with clients to translate their requirements into well-formulated solutions
Requirements:
  • Degree holder CA, CFA, CAIA, FRM charterholder or candidate a plus
  • At least ten years of experience in the financial services industry in fund administration
  • Technical knowledge of Investment Management/fund administration, to include fund accounting, NAV calculation, transfer agency, global custody, investor services, tax compliance and KYC capacity in fund administration
  • Knowledge and understanding of securities markets, Equities, Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Alternatives, Private Equity, Real Estate Fund Administration (SICAR/SIF) and Structured Products
  • Detailed understanding of technical, procedural and investment vehicle/product requirements in NAV production, daily P&L delivery, investor allocations, management and performance fee calculation and reporting
  • Knowledge and experience of mutual fund and unit trust vehicles, regional and global fund structures including Luxembourg SICAV, UCITS, Irish ICAV, Hong Kong’s open-ended fund company (OFC), Singapore VCC and the Cayman exempted company would be advantageous
  • Understanding and implementation of fund prospectus and governing documentation
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of accounting standards (IAS, IFRS, US GAAP)
  • Project or consultancy experience in leading onboarding and deployment of information services and investment technology solutions to enhance operational workflows and efficiencies
  • Experience in sales and project acquisition; network establishments in Singapore and/or other parts of Asia will be a plus
  • Experience in leading a team through an entire project life cycle
  • Capable of applying technology principles to business
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Highly analytical and structured in problem solving; able to quickly understand complex situations
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with clients and colleagues
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and team leadership skills
